Hey beauty lovers!
I have an empties blog today. For anyone who doesn’t know what an empties blog is about I just go through my trash and talk about all the beauty products I’ve used up. I have a whole gift bag full so let’s get started.
Starting out with hair products I have a few. I have two deep conditioners by Aussie. The first one is a 3 Minute Miracle Strong deep conditioner. I didn’t notice a difference in my hair at all. The smell is okay but nothing special. All around it just seemed like another conditioner. I also used up 3 Minute Miracle Moist deep conditioner. I love this stuff! I’ve been using it for years. It smells like coconut and after three minutes your hair becomes manageable and smooth. The price tag is also a plus coming in at 3 dollars a bottle.
I have repurchased the Moist conditioner.
I have a shampoo and a conditioner by Pantene, it’s the Repair and Protect Keratin Protection. The smell is nice but nothing special. It honestly dried my hair out. It felt like I could never rinse the conditioner completely out. I ran out of conditioner way before shampoo. It was honestly just a waste of about 12 dollars for both. I will not be repurchasing these products.
I have a Tresemme Advanced Technology shampoo and conditioner. They smell okay but I had the same problem with these products as I did the Pantene. I just can’t seem to find a shampoo and conditioner I love. So I wasted about another 12 dollars. I will not be repurchasing these products.
Next is a Palmers Coconut Oil Formula with Vitamin E. This stuff smells sooo good if you love coconut. I only use this on my ends other wise my hair would be greasy for days. I do like this when I run out of my Aussie Moist. The nice thing about this product is that it doesn’t have sulfate or parabens. The price is around the 7 dollar mark which isn’t bad for the amount of product you get. I would repurchase this product if I couldn’t find my Aussie Moist.
Last hair product is a Pantene Pro-V Overnight Miracle Serum. I love the smell of this it’s a light perfume smell. It’s a clear serum and you take two pumps rub it in your palms and smooth it through your ends. I didn’t notice a difference when using this. It just made it easier to brush my hair. I believe this product runs between 8 to 10 dollars. I will not be repurchasing this product.
I have two body washes to share with you. One is the Dove Deep Moisture Nourishing body wash. I love this stuff! I hate lotion and how it leaves you sticky so to have the lotion in your body wash is perfect. The smell is a fresh crisp scent. I love how moisturizing this stuff is without leaving you sticky. This bottle was about 7 dollars. I will be repurchasing this.
Tone Petal Soft body wash is a lovely treat if you want to smell like roses and peonies. There is nothing truly special about this product beside the scent. They have a whole line of nice smells which I can’t wait to try. I would say the price is about 4 dollars a bottle. I would repurchase this product just for the smell.
My all time favorite body scrub is the Shea Sugar Body Scrub. I love how moisturizing and gritty this stuff is. This is more of a harsh exfoliate so people with super sensitive skin should probably steer clear. This is about 6 dollars for a huge container. I will be repurchasing this product.
For skincare I have a Olay Fresh Effects Exfoliating Cleanser. I hate the smell of this stuff. I believe the scent is honeysuckle and white tea. This stuff did nothing for me. It really didn’t clean my skin that well. I didn’t want to throw it away because I did pay about 6 dollars for it. I used it up and will not be repurchasing it.
For an everyday light serum I’ve been loving I’m using a SkinLab Lift and Firm Serum. I purchased this at T. J. Maxx on a whim and I love it. I already bought another. There isn’t a smell and it’s just so light weight. It absorbs into my skin super fast. I just shake it up use about two drops in my hands and massage it into my skin. I paid 8 dollars for this.
For makeup I have a Primer by ELF. I have already bought a new one. I love this stuff it’s clear and it makes your skin so smooth. This primer helps keep my foundation on my face all day. I paid 6 dollars for this stuff and I love it. If you have any product suggestions leave then In a comment please.
